Message You can stick the sensors in a drill and spin them to remove the paint with a wire brush. Paint stripper would get everything off the pipes, but I wouldn't use that with the sensors in.

I bolted the pipes to a wooden board (which actually doubles as my ramps) and used various grits of paper to go from cast to polished. You could get a way with a fine wire wheel if you just want to strip them.

This is all if you care, lol. Other wise, if your Z works and you're happy, rock it.
